Membership Categories
As specified in the Bylaws, CFI Canada has two membership categories: Councillors and Friends of the Centre for Inquiry Canada. Following is a brief summary:
Councillors
Councillors are voting members, elected to a four-year term.
Each Councillor is entitled to receive notice of, attend and vote at all meetings of members and each such Councillor shall be entitled to one vote at such meetings.
Friends of the Centre for Inquiry Canada
Friends of the Centre for Inquiry Canada hold non-voting membership. Friends are normally invited to attend the Annual General Meeting, and are welcome to ask questions of the Council and Board of Directors, both at the AGM and throughout the year.
