Humans are social animals. Religion has often filled the requirement for community and social interaction. CFIC recognizes the importance of providing a non-religious/secular option for those who want to be part of a community free of religious obligations and entanglements.
Building community is one of CFI Canada’s core areas of focus, as described in our Strategic Plan.
CFIC has local branches and affiliates across the country, providing a variety of activities and events.
By year-end 2020:
• A branch manual will be developed to support branches in developing sustainable administration and programming
• Each branch will have a leadership team in place
• A virtual branch will be available for CFIC members in rural and remote communities
